Greenway Studio is an Auckland based landscape and architectural design company
founded by Liam Greenway.
Liam began his career in 1998 gaining practical experience working for landscaping companies Total Landscape Construction and Rosarie Landscapes. After two years, he was presented with the opportunity to manage a project as a self-employed landscaper and has been designing and building gardens ever since.
Liam specialises in commercial and residential projects that merge landscapes and architecture to stimulate communication with the outdoors. His skills include concept and detailed design, working drawings and consent plans, project management, building and 3D visualisations. Liam works closely with clients, architects and planners to achieve seamless transitions between built and natural environments.

Greenway Studio merges extensive horticultural knowledge and a passion for plants both native and exotic with a seasoned and creative design process. Form, texture and colour are thoroughly
explored before the drafting of
your concept plan begins. We then move on to planting plans,
structural detailing, sourcing
plants and project management.
We are passionate about creating seamless integration with architectural elements and their surrounding landscape, which is an opportunity that’s often missed.

Greenway Studio offers full service project management - planning, controlling and coordinating tasks from beginning to completion.

We were the second owners of a modernist gem of a house built in 1973 and were much more interested in a restoration than a renovation. Liam designed and consulted for us as well, it was all bespoke including a unique fencing system/look and feel at the time, as well as sourcing all the materials including fantastic quality cedar, steel and swamp Totara planks for our decking.
Liam continued interpreting and augmenting the architects plans wonderfully with an end result above our expectations. Once we realised what Liam was about we pretty much let him design and build what he wanted within the budget."
